The 2012 Winter Meeting of VGPGA held at the Comfort Inn in Montpelier, VT on January 28th.
2011 Most Improved Grower of the Year
went to Mike Cole and his family from Castleton, VT. They grew everything!! 881 lb pumpkin, 394 lb squash, 124 lb watermelon, 47 lb marrow, 25.5 lb cantaloupe, 98.88" long gourd, 69.5 lb field pumpkin and a 3.74 lb tomato !!!! Man, that's alotta veggies! I think they had personal bests in all categories and set new state records for watermelon, cantaloupe and maybe tomato. Wow!
